Functions, Primary Tasks, Deliverables, Stakeholders are: Build and manage a B2B Sales and Account Development Team delivering new business from institutions and practitioners and support the growth of current and future patient service centers. B2B Sales Player-Coach that will ultimately build a clinical laboratory direct sales and field service team. Input and key contributor to C-suite and market and customer needs.

Responsibilities, Scope of job, Functional requirements, day-to-day expectations, Leadership requirements, Cultural norms are:

  1. Close Diagnostics B2B Sales – individually and through the team.
  2. Hire, train and manage B2B Sales Managers and Account Development Reps
  3. Manage Sales pipelines to ensure team members meet Sales targets by landing new accounts and expanding existing clients
  4. Create and deliver PD Sales presentations
  • BA/BS degree required; MBA degree preferred
  • 8 – 10+ years of U.S. commercial diagnostic experience (sales, sales management, marketing & commercial strategy)
  • Previous diagnostic testing experience desired
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of direct management experience
  • Effective leadership, management, and teamwork skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; proactive cross-functional communicator
  • Proven record of sales achievement success in target diagnostic areas
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and direction
  • Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic and rapidly changing start-up environment
  • Strong desire and vision to build a new sales organization with clear vision for the future
  • Required Travel:  30-35% with travel
  • Home-based remote with some visits to corporate office in tri-state NJ/NY/CT, possibly RI area
