The Associate Director, Global Forecasting will support forecasting and business planning and oversee market data across therapeutic areas, manage strategic development and contribute to future market analytics strategy. In addition, develop a standardized monthly forecasting and analytics platform for countries for business planning.

This individual will be a functional modelling developer who will work closely with the Franchise and country teams to develop and create forecast models.

Will focus on establishing and elevating performance capabilities in operational and strategic forecasting, identifying what great looks like and a roadmap for how we will get there

Internal expert in performance metrics and analytics; to challenge and drive implementation for improved reporting and alignment with countries and global functions

Acts as business partner and plays an instrumental role supporting decision making

Key focus will also be to strengthen the cross-country communication and knowledge sharing among company affiliates

  • The Associate Director of Global Forecasting will create a Forecasting tools, models and a vision while providing leadership and guidance across global stakeholders and country commercial organizations that empowers country commercial teams
  • Deliver year-over-year improvements in the efficiency and effectiveness of the forecast results and process
  • Ensure cross functional alignment
  • Provide an expertise in Forecasting and Business Planning with countries
  • Develop professional training and ensure continued capability development.
  • Ensure data integrity across all global and local stakeholders
  • Own and manage strategic platform post roll-out
  • Identify, in collaboration with CoE head, business issues and growth opportunities ahead of business reviews
  • Identify possible solutions /areas of improvements for countries in data reporting and quality
  • Automate manual data collection process
  • Coordinate with external vendors to manage data
  • Ensure rigorous improvement efforts are undertaken when key metrics are not met

Develop and implement optimal processes tools for:

  •  Forecasting patient flows
  •  Outputs to clearly reflect source of business, competitive landscape
  • Patient and market share forecasts
  • Own technical aspects of forecast and model development
  • Align forecasting process to business reviews
  • Ensure data integrity across therapeutic areas by setting market definitions and reviewing global and country data purchases

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  •    B.S. Degree in Science, Math, Statistics, and/or any scientific discipline; M.S. Degree preferred
  •    10+ years’ experience in Pharmaceutical forecasting and financial modelling
  •    Global work experience working closely with Country Commercial teams
  •    Bring an independent perspective to drive results and transparency on business performance

Salary:

$180K - $195K + 20% Annual Bonus + 30% LTI (Long Term Incentive)
